Collins Performance engineering produce their own -31 wastegate actuators. Made out of HE30 aluminium they are an excellent upgrade for the OE part. They are completely rebuildable with parts being available from ourselves.
The supplied spring is a -31, this is a rising rate spring that can be adjusted somewhere in the region of 8-25psi without using a boost control solenoid.
The actuators are produced with the Ford Escort Turbo and Cosworth range in mind, but do fit onto some other cars with Garrett turbochargers.
eg Metro Turbo, Renault 5 GT Turbo, Renault 21 Turbo
There are 3 different lengths of shaft on our actuators, we call them:
Type A -
4x4 Cosworth
Type B - 2wd Cosworth/Escort Turbo
Type C -
Escort Cosworth
Actuators are available in a choice of colours, silver, red, blue or black.
